First time here and it was such a lovely experience. The food was great and Jennie was a delight. Look forward to going back there again and asking for Jennie!
When I read the reviews, I went into my reservation thinking that the food would be just ok while the ambience would be super fun. I was wrong-the food was great too! At the Prairie Schooner, you get to eat your dinner inside a covered wagon-with the luxury of bench seats. So it's very comfortable, which I was worried about. No sitting on the floor here, just FYI. Our entire experience was fantastic-service was attentive and kind, the food was tasty and the ambience was unique. I loved feeling like I was eating out on the prairie-even the ceiling is made to look like stars in the sky. I'm a fan and am already looking forward to returning.
Jennie was our server. She was absolutely stunning. So kind and accommodating. My friend and I are both gluten free and she was helpful to point us in the right direction. 5 for the atmosphere, it is so fun and silly. I love the western feel. It's like the rainforest cafe of the Wild West haha. The food was very straightforward. We shared a few dishes. Not jaw dropping delicious, but the atmosphere is why you go. Very fun and a silly gag. Food is very simple nothing too crazy. Broccoli and salad was very clean. Would like more flavor in the steak and meats. Would go back it was fun.
